TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE 2026

Accepting birds February 7th through May 3rd 2026 

All birds must have 2026 seamless bands recognized by international organizations AU, CU, IF, FMC etc. and we advise that all breeders vaccinate their birds at or around 21 days old before sending. please use a new box when shipping.

We will return your birds in brand new boxes at the conclusion of the race series All birds will be vaccinated with PMV/Rota upon arrival, but please do it yourself at least 2 weeks before sending. Shortly after arrival all birds will also be treated for internal/external parasites and canker. All birds will have their 9th and 10th flights pulled. Birds will be quarantined prior to entry.

Sick birds will not be placed in the loft. All birds are chipped and entered into Wincompanion upon arrival. TauRis Derby clocking system to be used. If Fees are not paid by deadlines the birds become property of Triple 300 Average Speed Challenge and will be subject to sale to other breeders.

Fees due prior to or on arrival of the young birds. Birds will only be permitted in the loft if the perch fee is with them.

 Race #3 354 miles (Gold/Silver/Bronze Classes Available)* Race distances may be adjusted based on conditions for the best interest of the birds **(Gold $100/Silver $50/Bronze $20)** Number of positions paid based on number of entries and birds shipped. Paid 48 hours prior to shipping of each effected race. Short/Training races are Training races/tosses prepping the birds for the “TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE” Three (3) Race Average Speed Series (3 races over 300 miles) All birds will shipped to all Short/Training race/tosses unless deemed unfit to compete.

All birds that return from the 96 mile (Part 1) and 210 mile (Part 2) activation races and by end of each race (30 minutes after sunset on day 2) must be activated to maintain breeder eligibility. There is no picking and choosing of birds. All or nothing. Races are anticipated to be flown August thru October 2026 Dates may be subject to change due to conditions or weather.

Race #1 Activation is anticipated to be flown August 23, 2026 with following races to be flown weekly.

Final 300+ mile Race Will be Shared First Drop then Clocking Order. Payout posted under the PAYOUT TAB is based on 600 birds Activated Part 1 entries and 375 birds Activated Part 2 entries 15% of entry fees will be held for expenses. Birds not activated by the second Short/Training series race will be become property of TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE and subject to sell to other breeders.

All races end 30 minutes after sunset on day 2. If no birds return then prizes will be divided equally among actual birds sent to that particular race and average will be calculated from completed races. If all prizes are not claimed by race end on day 2 of a particular race, the remaining prizes will be divided equally among the winners. Birds will be shipped back at Breeder’s expense.

Return shipping cost 1 bird $70.00, 2 birds $80.00, 3 birds $90.00 W-9 forms required, if winnings are over $600.00 TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE reserves the right to deny entry to any breeder not following the rules.

TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE will not be held responsible for lost birds under any circumstance, including but not limited to shipping issues, government interference, illness, natural disaster, or theft.

By sending birds to TRIPLE 300 AVERAGE SPEED CHALLENGE you agree to abide by all rules. First year breeders who enter the race are grandfathered in and guaranteed entry in future years race series, the capacity of our loft is 1008 birds, we will only accept 900.

All decisions regarding race results, organization, management and anything not specified in this rules will be taken by the TRIPLE 300 RACE MANAGERS and are final.
